Media Chief Appeals to Federal Government, ASUU To Come To Terms

The General Manager of Adamawa Broadcasting Corporation, ABC Yola, Chief Alleni Ethan Dah has appealed to the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities ASUU to come to terms and bring to an end the ongoing strike by lecturers in public Universities nations wide.

He appealed when he received an Award from the Student’s Representative Assembly of Modibbo Adama University in Collaboration with the Students Union Government of the University in his office Thursday.

Chief Dah explained that the award will save as a catalyst for better performance of the entire of Adamawa Broadcasting Corporation.

The Awardee urged students to resist the temptation to resort to violence and other acts that will jeopardize their features.

The General Manager appreciated the Association for the award and dedicated the Award to the entire Staff of the Corporation.

In their Presentations, Comrade Abubakar Yakub and Comrade Muhammad Danguma Magaz described the Awardee as a professional and good leader who mentored many persons in society.

They noted that ABC is a channel for uniting the public on Peace and facilitating community development through its numerous educative programs.

Speaking, the Director of Programs of ABC Yola Mr. Michael Musa called on the students to be good ambassadors of the country because there are future leaders of the nation.
