Courts in Adamawa to resume on Thursday this week

All Courts in Adamawa state are to reopen on Thursday this week. A statement signed by the Chief Register Christopher D. Mapeo on behalf of the chief Justice, justice I. K Banu said the reopening of the courts should be in compliance with Covid-nineteen protocols.

All Courts in Adamawa state are to reopen on Thursday this week.

A statement signed by the Chief Register Christopher D. Mapeo on behalf of the chief Justice, justice I. K Banu said the reopening of the courts should be in compliance with Covid-nineteen protocols.

They include all court personnel’s are to use face mask throughout their sittings, equally counsels, parties and all other court users are to also use face mask while court is on session.

Similarly hand sanitizing must be strictly observed as well as social distancing and washing of hands under a running water must also be done.

According to the statement, failure to observe these protocols while courts are on session would attract disciplinary action.

Meanwhile the Chief Judge, Justice I.K Banu has approved vacation for high court judges from twenty forth of this month to January forth.
