First aid group of fityanul Islam organizes workshop for members

Officials and members of First Aid Group of Fityanul Islam of Nigeria have been tasked to discharge their duties in accordance with the laid down rules and regulations of the organization.

The state chairman of Fityanul Islam of Nigeria, Sheik Abubakar Sirimbai gave the charge while addressing participants from the twenty one local government areas of the state at a three Day capacity building workshop organized by the state chapter First Aid Group of the organization held at the Aliyu Musdafa College Yola.

He said the organization which was established in nineteen sixty three is aimed at complimenting the effort of Police towards protecting the lives and properties of the citizenry and rendering first aid to accident victims regardless of religious inclination.

Sheik Sirimbai said that their role in the society is enormous, hence the need for them to fear Allah and be trustworthy to maintain their dignity and earn people’s respect.

While commending the foresight of the organizers, the Islamic scholar noted that such workshop will broaden the knowledge of participants in carrying out their responsibilities as First Aiders.

In his contribution, the Chief Imam Police Barrack Karewa Jumma’at Mosque, Superintendent of Police Suleiman Ahmad called on Muslims to utilize their time judiciously and always be prepared for dead which every soul must test no matter how long one live on earth.

He called on parents to desist from castigating their children rather they should pray for them to be responsible members of the society.

The chief Imam also reminded parents on their responsibilities of educating their children, maintaining that society will be better if every child is educated.

He reminded people on the need to be security conscious and be brothers keepers so as to overcome security challenges facing the country.
