Governor Pledges To Ensure 2024 Hitch-free Hajj Exercise

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has reiterated the commitment of his administration to support Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission Yola in ensuring hitch free conduct of next years’ pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.
The governor was spoke through the Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu Prambe during post two thousand and twenty-three Hajj Walima and award presentation held at the Commission’s Headquarters, Yola.
Governor Fintiri said government will to ensure welfare of Adamawa pilgrims are cater for during Hajj exercise and lauded the Commission for the successful hajj exercise.
The Governor explained that government will settle hajj fare for all officials of the Commissions before the end of December this year and urged intending pilgrims to hasten their payment.
Earlier, the Executive Secretary, Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission Yola, Malam Abubakar Salihu attributed the success of the last Hajj exercise to support the Commission received from Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
The Executive Secretary used the forum to announce the commencement for the preparation for next year’s Hajj exercise, saying each intending pilgrims is expected to deposit four point five million naira pending official announcement of the Hajj fare.
There were goodwill messages from NAHCON, Lamido Adamawa Amna Shelleng among others.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri was among the awardees.
