Lawmaker promises constituents basic amenities

The Member representing Mubi North constituency at the Adamawa state House of Assembly, Alhaji Shuaibu Dan Musa has reassured his Constituents of his commitment towards providing them with basic amenities.

The lawmaker gave the assurance at the Emir of Mubi’s Palace while presenting empowerment items for onward distribution to hundreds of his electorate.

He appreciated his people for their support, and promised not to relent in assisting them, and urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the items.

Speaking during the distribution of the items to the beneficiaries, the Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Alhaji Aminu Iya Abbas who was represented by his deputy Mr. Pwamakaino Mackondo, said that the gesture is the outcome of good representation.

Iya Abbas thanked Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for approving forty million naira to all the twenty five lawmakers for execution of constituency projects.

According to him, the Member has been supporting the government of the day, and that the house is solidly behind him, calling on the electorate to rally round him.

In his goodwill message, the Assistant Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress APC Alhaji Mohammed Mayas applauded People of Mubi for their support to the party.

He said that their party is proud with what the members elected under its platform are doing at the House of Assembly, saying that the party is solidly behind them.

Baring his mind, the Emir of Mubi, Alhaji Abubakar Isa Ahmadu represented by Madawaki Mubi, Alhaji Mahmud Wambai said the items will go a long way in reducing poverty in the society.

Also in his message, the Director General Dan Musa Campaign Organisation, Paul Simon Vintim, said that the Member is doing what is expected of him, and urged him to continue in providing dividends of democracy to his people.

In his welcome address, the Chairman All Progressives Congress APC Mubi North Local Government Area, Alhaji Usman Durmin Gude urged other Members to borrow a leaf from their Member as he has been doing what he has been voted to do.

Some of the items distributed by the Member include; seventy sewing machines, seventy grinding machines, one hundred and fifty generators, one hundred and fifty clippers, thirty wheelchairs and tools for carpentry among others.

Similarly, the legislator has distributed seven brand new cars as part of effort towards making them become self reliant.
