Muslim youths have been charged to engage in skills to enable them become self reliant as enshrined in the teachings of Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him.

State Mosque Director of Jama’atul Izalatil Bidi’a Wa’ikamatis Sunna Ustaz Ahmad Muhammad gave the charge in his lecture at the ongoing state annual seminar of First Aid Group of the Jama’atul Izalatil Bidi’a Wa’ikamatis Sunna holding at General Murtala Mohammed College Yola.

He stated that Islam is against those who always engage in begging and task the youths to seek knowledge to enable them contribute to the development of society and be responsible members in their various communities.

The Islamic scholar also reminded parents of the need to instill discipline in their children and assigned them responsibilities as a way of grooming them to be good leaders of tomorrow.
