Demsa Lawmaker Reiterates Commitment to Constituents

The member representing Demsa Constituency at the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon Kate Raymond Mamuno has reiterated her commitment towards meeting the yearnings of those who voted her into power.

Mrs Mamuno stated this while presenting a brand new Peugeot 406 car to the Peoples Democratic Party PDP Chairman of Demsa and a Toyota Corolla car to her 2019 Elections Campaign Director General at the PDP Secretariat Saturday in Demsa.

Mamuno who is the Chairman House Committee on Finance, Appropriation and Budget and as Chairperson Committee on Women Affairs and Social Development, said her concern is to ensure that those who voted for her to represent them in the state legislature reap the dividends of democracy through people-oriented programs that have direct impact in their lives.

While reaffirming her loyalty to the stakeholders and party leadership at all levels, the lawmaker called on them to continue with their support to the administration of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Finitiri to enable him provide more projects across communities in Adamawa State.

She also commended the party Chairman and her DG campaign for the role they have played towards her victory in the 2019 polls and assured them that she would continue to work with other relevant stakeholders for the overall development of the communities.

Addressing the gathering, the member representing Nasarawo Binyeri Constituency and Chairman House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon Umar Nashong Ngubi described Kate Mamuno as a female lawmaker with proven integrity considering her contributions on the floor of the House and to the people of her Constituency.

Speaking separately Special Advisers to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Finitiri Mr Peter Hadilli and Mr Richard Gana called on the people of the area to rally round the Lawmaker to enable her succeed in her activities as the representative of the people in the State Assembly and appealed to other political office holders to emulate her.

In a remark one of the PDP stalwarts in Demsa Malam Ahmad Muhammad Demsa called on the PDP stakeholders in the area to put their personal interest aside and support Mrs. Kate Mamuno to enable her deliver more to the people.

In their vote of thanks the Party Chairman Mr Gibson Pwadadi and the Director General Kate Campaign Organization Mr Wangilrom Golamro expressed their appreciation to the lawmaker for giving them the vehicles.
