Adamawa Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission announces Hajj fare

Adamawa state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission Yola has announced the sum of two million, eight hundred and ninety thousand naira as Hajj fare for intending pilgrims from the state for the twenty-twenty three Hajj exercise.

Executive Secretary of the Commission Mallam Abubakar Salihu who made the announcement during a Press conference at the Commission’s headquarters in Yola said the fare is the lowest in the country.

According to him, ninety five thousand slots were allocated to Nigeria by the kingdom of saudi Arabia in which two thousand six hundred and sixty nine seats were allocated to the state by the National Hajj Commission.

The Executive Secretary explained that the preparation for this year’s Hajj is fully on top gear as befitting accommodation has been secured close to Haram for intending pilgrims from the state by the Commission.

He said the Commission had concluded arrangements with reputable Food vendors to cater for intending pilgrims while in the holy Land.

The Executive Secretary noted that two thousand and seventy nine intending pilgrims were fully registered by the Commission on E-Portal, urging those who are yet to complete their payment to do so before the twenty first of April twenty-twenty three.

He reminded Intending Pilgrims to prepare for their Hadaya Sacrifice as it is not part of their BTA.

Mallam Salihu Abubakar said Aero contractors has been approved by President Muhammadu Buhari as the company to airlift intending Pilgrims from Nigeria to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

While urging Intending Pilgrims to be attending Sensitization Sessions in their respective areas, Mallam Salihu said the commission is reaching out to key stakeholders on Hajj for successful Exercise.
