Some Fomer Executives of All Progressives Congress in Mayo Belwa who recently defected to the Peoples Democratic Party PDP have dismissed as false the rumours that they are still in APC.

Some of the defectors in an interview with ABC Yola reporter, said they have moved to PDP with a former member representing Mayo Belwa Constituency in the state House of Assembly, Musa Mahmud Kallamu whom they regarded as their Political leader.

A former vice chairman of APC for Mbilla ward in Mayo Belwa, Alhaji Aliyu Saidu faulted the allegation that they were recently sworn-in as APC executives maintaining that they are loyalists of the former legislator.

According to him they remain committed and are loyal PDP members while promising to mobilise more people in to the party.

On his part, James Ibrahim who is also a former secretary of APC for Mbilla ward said they left APC as a result of Injustice meted out to their Political Leader Alhaji Musa Kallamu as well as lack of focus by the party.

He described Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as a man of proven integrity with passion to move Adamawa to greater heights.

Similarly, a former Publicity Secretary of APC in Ribadu ward, Babangida Audu and Isa Haruna a former assistant Youth Leader Mbilla ward alleged that APC was circulating the fake news that they were still members of the party.

They commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for the giant developmental strides and assured him of their unflinching support.

It could be recalled that recently former member representing Mayo Belwa Constituency Alhaji Musa Mahmud Kallamu had left APC and moved to the ruling PDP together with thousands of his supporters.
