Police Arrest Fake Soldier In Adamawa

A 22-year old Paul Shaltha, a resident of Sabon Gari, in Sangere Futy, Girei Local Governmernt Area of Adamawa state has been arrested by Police for allegedly poses as a soldier and extorts money from people.

A 22-year-old Paul Shaltha, a resident of Sabon Gari, in Sangere Futy, Girei Local Government Area of Adamawa state has been arrested by Police for allegedly posing as a soldier and extorting money from people.

SP, Suleiman Nguroje spokesman of the Police Command in the state in a statement said Shaltha was picked up for extorting tricycle operators and members of the public on Sunday

Part of the statement reads: “Paul Shaltha, the self-acclaimed soldier, was on Sunday arrested for extorting money from a tricycle operator who allegedly violated traffic rules,” the statement stated.”
