Adamawa Muslims Council takes Daawa to Gombi

The District Head of Guyaku in Gombi local government, Alhaji Usman Ibrahim Sarki Fada Muqaddas Guyaku has appealed to Adamawa state Muslim Council to redouble their efforts in sensitizing Muslim youths to be vanguard of peace during next year’s general elections.
The District Head made the appeal Tuesday during Central Zone Da’awah lectures organized by the Adamawa state Muslim Council in his palace in Gombi.
Muqaddas Guyaku noted that youths have a vital role in ensuring peaceful elections; hence the need for the council to intensifies efforts at uniting Muslim Ummah.
Alhaji Ibrahim Sarki Fada called on Muslims to fear Allah in their dealings.
In his remarks, the Chairman, Gombi local government council, Alhaji Abdurraman Dauda Shagga saluted Adamawa state Muslim Council for organizing the Central zone Da’awah lectures in Gombi and pledged his support.
Speaking, the Deputy Chief Imam of Agga Islamic Centre Yola, Ustaz Musa Muhammad Habib who spoke extensively on unity in Islam, noted that Muslims should be their brothers keepers, hence the need to live peacefully with one another.
Ustaz Habib cautioned them against acts of spreading lies, hate speech and fake news stressing that these are prohibited under Islam.
Contributing, Deputy Chief Imam Modibbo Adama Central mosque Yola, Modibbo Abubakar Kaurame advised Muslims to be obedient to leaders in all their affairs.
He said Prophet Muhammad during his lifetime encouraged Muslims to be loyal and good followers of their leaders.
Earlier in his remark, the chairman of the occasion who is also chairman Muslim Council, Alhaji Gambo Jika said Da’wah is one cardinal objective of the council; and to sensitize Muslims to live peaceful with one another.
Alhaji Gambo Jika announced that the council will embark on Da’awah lectures in the twenty one local government areas of the state.
The Chairman Appreciated those who contributed and supported the success of the Da’awah and prayed to Allah to reward them abundantly.
There were goodwill messages from Chairman, Annadah Modibbo Aliyu Iya Wuro Yombe, Chairman Jama’atul Izalatul Bidi’a Wa’ikamatis sunnah, Sahabo Magaji and representative of Jama’atul Nasril Islam among others.
