Sebore Farms launches diary of Admiral’A Youghurt

Sebore International Farms Limited has formerly launched a dairy of Admiral ‘A` Yoghurt factory in the farm situated along-Mayo Belwa road.

Speaking at the Launching of the factory, the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Sebore International Farms Limited Alhaji Aminu Nyako said the Admiral’A Yoghurt factory has the capacity to process one hundred and fifty thousand liters of milk daily.

He explained that the factory is powered by solar energy which makes it independent of power from the Electricity Distribution Company.

The CEO said thousands of local farmers are expected to provide the factory milk for processing.

According to him, the factory will strengthen its synergy with farmers through training them and offering of financial assistance among others.

Alhaji Aminu noted that the Sebore farms which was established in nineteen eighty is the largest mango exporter in West Africa which is a pure passion of former Adamawa state Governor, Admiral Mustala Nyako.

He said the factory is a partnership between Sebore International Farms Bill and Melinda Gates foundation, Central Bank of Nigeria and Providus Bank.

Presenting a Master Plan of the factory, Mr Omar Khan said the diary of Admiral’A Youghurt will provide job opportunities to people and attract investors and tourists in near future.

In his remark, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele represented by Director Development Finance Department of the CBN, Mr Chika Nwaja lauded the management of Sebore farms for its efforts in boosting agricultural activities in the country.

In a Vote of thanks the Founder of Sebore farms who also a former Governor of Adamawa state, Vice Admiral Mustala Nyako thanked Co-partners for their support.

He also expressed happiness over the mutual understanding existing between the Sebore farms and the local communities over the year’s existence.

There were goodwill messages from a retired Permanent Secretary Federal Ministry of Defence Aliyu Ismail Numan, Mr Walter Akpani Managing Director of Providus Bank as well as Prince Malik Ado Ibrahim among others.

The Commissioning Ceremony of the Factory was performed by Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulraq and the event was attended by several personalities within and outside the country.
