Royal Creative World Trains Youths On Vocational Skills

An Adamawa Based Social Group, Royal Creative World has organized a one-day workshop for youths on vocational skills to empower them to be self-employed.

The workshop which drew participants from all parts of the state focused on ills associated with unemployment which include restiveness and immorality among others.

The event was held at the Nigeria Union of Teachers, NUT state Secretariat Yola.

According to one of the resource person, Engineer Kube Dwaa, the one way to address unemployment among youths is by meaningfully engaging them in entrepreneurial activities that can earn them income.

He cautioned them against waiting for white collar jobs as these are no more available.

In a good will message, the Principal Training Officer of the  National Directorate of Employment, NDE Mallam Hassan Abdulkarim Abdulhakim expressed readiness of the directorate in partnering with the organizations like  Royalty Creative World to give vocational training to youths.

Mallam Abdulhakim who lauded the group for organizing the workshop counseled the participants to use the knowledge acquired to decently fend for themselves.

While giving an overview of the establishment of the NDE, Abdulkarim Abdulhakim noted that it was established mainly to address the increasing the number of unemployed persons in the country by giving vocational training.

He observed that organizations like Royalty Creative World are playing a complimentary role to government efforts at reducing idleness and crime.
