NGO Conducts Performance Review Meeting With Stakeholders

A nongovernmental organization, Connected Development CODE under its Malala Fund project in Adamawa state has conducted a performance the Review Meeting with stakeholders to seek ways to move forward with the components for the remaining lifespan of the project.

Speaking, in an interview, the project manager on the girl child education campaign, Zaliha Lawal said the objective of the meeting is to review what has been able to achieved so far under the project especially with regards to increasing enrolment, retention and completion of girls in secondary schools as well as and to get government make a policy of twelve years free and compulsory education for the girl child.

Facilitating the meeting Muktar Modibbo of connected development along with other stakeholders, exchanged ideas on the project as well as drafted a work plan sequel to responses of participants.

The event held at Golden Alphine Hotel Jimeta, had in attendance stakeholders from ministries of Education, women affairs, water resources, Adamawa Universal Basic Education Board and community members from Fufore and Yola South local government areas as well as Post Primary Schools Management Board.
