Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Wednesday swears into office chairman and members of the Adamawa State Civil Service Commission.

They are Doctor Ahmad Ibrahim Gurin Chairman while Bakari Betso, Umaru Garba Tola, Frederic Bilala and Elkana Lawan will serve as members.

Governor Umaru Fintiri while speaking during the event held in Government House, Yola said the choice of the members was after a careful painstaking process in respect of their tract record and integrity.

He called on them to justify their appointment which is believed will fit into the reforms in the civil service sector being carried out by the present administration.

Governor Umaru Fintiri congratulated them for the appointment and urged them to work within the ambit of the law and carry everybody along while discharging their duties.

In his vote of thanks on behalf of the appointees, the Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, Doctor Ahmad Ibrahim Gurin thanked the Governor for finding them worthy of the appointment.

He said the Governor has proved that he is for everybody pledged that they will not disappoint him.

Highlight of the event was administering the oath of allegiance and office on the Chairman and members of the State Civil Service Commission by the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Barrister Afraimu Jingi.
