EYN- Church Members Charge To Unite Against All Odds

The President EYN- Church of the Brethren, Reverend Joel Billy has charged members of the church to unite against all odds, to collectively move the Church forward.
He gave the charge Wednesday during an international press conference organized by the church heralding the centenary celebration of the church held at the EYN Headquarters Kwarhi, Hong local government area of Adamawa state.
The President, who admonished the members to consolidate on the church achievements, extolled them for being supportive.
Reverend Billy revealed that as part of achievement, so far, the Church has sixty one District Church Council, five hundred and eighty five local churches, and nine hundred and fifty clergies.
He also disclosed that the church has established its branch in Jos, Plateau state, and rehabilitation centre for new converts.
While tracing the history of the church, the President explained that the church was first established on seventeen March nineteen twenty three at Garkida, Gombi local government area.
Reverend Billy stated that Reverend Rover Kulp and Reverend Albert Helser as the pioneer missionaries of the Church.
He expressed dismay over the unbearable economic woes of the country and called on President Muhammadu Buhari to head on and address the killing.
The clergy also frowned at the untold hardship facing Nigerians occasioned by the new naira redesign, urging President Buhari to facilitate the resolution of the problem, and as well overhaul the security architecture of the country.
The EYN President regrettably that the electoral umpire, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for failed Nigerians for not transmitting the electoral results as earlier promised.
He reiterated the call for expeditiously to facilitate the release of Leah Sharibu who is still in captivity.
