Adamawa State Muslims Council flags off extra moral lessons for exit classes of Senior Secondary School

The Adamawa State Muslims Council has flagged off extra moral lessons for exit classes of Senior Secondary School three, aimed at giving students extra tutorials ahead of their forthcoming National Examination Council NECO examination.

Declaring the extra moral lessons open, the chairman of the Council Gambo Jika called on the exit students to be serious and attend the lesson as it will be helpful to them.

He tasked the youths to be of good moral behavior at all times.

Alhaji Gambo commended the Muslims Corpers Association of Nigeria MCAN for initiating the program and assured the Corps members of the council’s support.

In his address the chairman Yola south local government, Salihu Usman Malkohi represented by his chief of staff, Alhaji Aminu Tura commended the efforts of the Muslim Council and that of Muslims Corpers Association of Nigeria for initiating the program as part of their contribution to the educational development of their host communities.

Also Speaking, the Chairman Adamawa State Universal Basic Education Board Doctor Salihi Ateequ called on youth to acquire skills so as to be self-reliant.

Earlier the chairman of the occasion who is also the National President of Aliyu Mustafa Old Student Association AMOSA, Alhaji Usman Ahmad Dada said the program came at a time when COVID-nineteen has affected the education sector.

In his paper presentation, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Basic Education, Saidu Komsiri has advised youth to shun vices and be focused.

In his speech the state chairman of Muslims Corpers Association of Nigeria MCAN, Abdulrahman Marafa said the programs was initiated by MCAN and sponsored by the Muslims council in the twenty one local government areas of the state.
