Five Local governments in Adamawa state have formed community Development plan building trust in their local Governments in order to foster unity and peace in the state.

Similarly, it will also minimize vandalization of public properties and ensure sustainability of projects.

The local governments are Maiha, Mubi North, Mubi South, Gombi and Hong.

The Chairman Adamawa state planning Commission Doctor Mary Paninga stated this at a six day budget inclusion meeting for permanent secretaries, chairmen and Directors of planning of relevant government ministries, departments and agencies held at City green hotel,jimeta yola.

She explained that community Development plans have identified projects that are in line with the mandate of respective ministries, departments and agencies Captured in next year’s budget.

She said the meeting will afford ministries and departments the opportunity to examine the community development plans that will be interpreted in next year’s budget proposal.

In his remark, Field Coordinator German Government Agency on International Development Cooperation, Abubakar Tukur said the community development plan will eneble the people to get what they want from the Government.

Also speaking permanent secretary ministry of commerce trade and industry Mr Uba Umar Abdu said the workshop is all inclusive with various plan that can give Government a sense of direction in planning.

The permanent secretary Adamawa state Planning commission Alhaji Usman Gama mapeo and Director in the commission Gladys Dzarmah spoke on the overview of the community Development planning process and key out comes.
