The world hepatitis twenty, twenty-one was rounded up with free testing, vaccination and treatment of the ailment at the premises of specialist hospital Jimeta-Yola.
Flagging off the event, the Adamawa state commissioner of health represented by Permanent Secretary in the ministry  Mrs Rhoda Zira who spoke on the dangers of hepatitis and urged the general public to know their status by undergoing test.
In a remark, the Director Public Health  Ministry of Health, Doctor Celin Laori appreciated the efforts of the organisers and called on all to take advantage of the free services to know their status.

Over two thousand people benefitted from the hepatitis free test exercise.

Some beneficiaries of the services had expressed their gratitude to the organisers of the world hepatitis week for the gesture.
The event which was organised by Community Reach Initiative Yola in collaboration with Adamawa State Ministry of Health was jointly funded by Roche Product Ltd and Zolon Health Limited.
Highlight of the event was testing and vaccination of people against hepatitis.
