ADAMAWA GOVT SUSPENDS SALLAH HOMAGE ON GOV. FINTIRI, DECLARES 30TH and 31ST AS WORK FREE DAYS
ADAMAWA state Government has Suspended SALLAH HOMAGE ON Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

The Adamawa State Government has suspended this year’s Eid-El-Kabir Sallah homage on Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
The government advised that all sallah prayers should be held in community mosques and not Eid grounds.
A statement by Chief of Staff Government House, Yola Professor Maxwell Gidado said the development was due to Covid-19 pandemic scourge.
In a related development, the state government has also approved Thursday thirtieth and Friday thirty first as public holidays to mark Eid-El-Kabir Sallah celebration.
The statement however said work resumes on Monday third August twenty twenty.
