Fire Razes Orphanage Home In Jimeta

Properties worth millions of naira were destroyed by fire at the Arra’ayah Orphanage Foundation Jimeta, in Yola North local government area of Adamawa state, though no life was lost.

A cause of the inferno is yet to ascertain as at the time of filling the report.

The orphanage home which has schools within the premises has more than sixty male and female orphans with inadequate both classes and accommodation.

Recall that the home solicits for assistance to complete the storey building that would accommodate the children and create a Conducive learning environment for the orphans.

Commenting on the development, the proprietress of the home, Hajiya Aisha Mohammed Khamis expressed gratitude to Allah to sparing the lives of the orphans and appealed to the general public to assist the homes with whatever means in order to cater for the welfare of the orphans.
