Ei-el Kabir: Ram Sellers lament low patronage

Ahead of this year’s Eid-Kabir Sallah celebration prices of rams in Yola cattle market is on the highest side.
ABC Yola reporter Nasiru Mohammed who visited the market reported that sellers of rams are complaining of low patronage.
The prices of the animals ranges from forty thousand naira to one hundred and eighty thousand naira.
In an interview chairman, cattle market Yola South local government area, Malam Ibrahim Ahmadu attributed it to high cost of animal feeds and transportation.
He said rearing of animals nowadays is very costly, as many people have abundant the cattle business.
The chairman called on Muslim to endeavour to buy the sacrificed animal to enable them fulfil Allah’s instruction to them.
A ram seller in the market, Baba Umaru Jaji said the price of ram is high compare to last year.
Malam Salihu Abba and Usman Alaramma who bough their rams described the prices a un-comparable to last year.
