“draw my attention whenever am going wrong”-Cika Soron Adamawa

The District Head of Yola and Chika Soro Adamawa, Alhaji Muhammadu Ahmed Mustapha has appealed to traditional tittle holders in his domain to draw his attention whenever he erred while discharging his duties.

The District Head made the appeal Sunday when a delegation from Damare Community Yola, paid him thank-you visit for conferring a traditional tittle of Maji-Kira Cika Soro to a member of the community and Director with National Sugar Development Council Abuja, Alhaji Abubakar Abubakar Damare.

Alhaji Mustapha explained that he conferred the tittle to Alhaji Abubakar in recognition of his contributions to development of the area, acts of patriotism and zeal to assist people.

He described Alhaji Abubakar as a silent achiever, adding that he finds it necessary to include knowledgeable, initiative, hardworking and level headed public officer like him as a counsellor in his council.

The District Head charged the new Maji-Kira to be loyal and cooperate with other tittle holders in the district to move the area forward.

Earlier, the leader of the delegation who is also Wakili Doka Adamawa, Alhaji Hammawa Damaere told the District Head that they were in the palace to thank him for conferring the traditional tittle Maji-kira to their son.

He said Damare community felt honoured by the gesture and assured the District Head that the Maji-Kira would be loyal and honest in discharging his duty.
