District Head Enjoins People Of His Domain To Promote Peace, Unity

The Wakili Gurin Alhaji Abbo Abubakar Babagurin has called on people of the area to promote peace and unity for meaningful development of the area.

He made the call while receiving State Chairman of Radio, Televison, and Theater Arts Workers Union, RATTAWU Comrade Shehu Saad Bolware on a thank you visit for bestowing on him with title of Dan Iya Gurin.

Alhaji Babab Gurin stressed the need for peaceful coexistence among the people and appealed to traditional title holders in the area to support him to move Gurin forward.

The Wakili Gurin said the title bestowed on Shehu Saad was based on his track record of being loyal and honest, urging him to justify the confidence repose in him.

Alhaji Baba Gurin sed the forum to announce the conferment the title of Dokaji Gurin to state of Labour Congress NLC Comrade Emmanuel Fashe.

Speaking earlier, Adamawa state NLC Chairman Emmanuel Fashe had described the title of Dan Iya bestowed on Shehu Saad who is the state Auditor of the Congress as well deserved and appreciated Wakili Guring  for the honor done to him.

Responding, the new Dan Iya Gurin, Shehu Saad Bolware expressed gratitude to Wakili Gurin for finding him worthy of the appointment and pledged to unite with other title holders to move Gurin District to greater heights.

During the visit, the Dan Iya Gurin was escorted by hundreds of friends as well as relatives within and outside Adamawa.
