Dan Maliki Foundation empowers youths, women in Shelleng local government

A non-governmental organization, Dan Maliki Foundation has distributed empowerment items to youths and women in Shelleng local government area with the aim of to improving their living standard.
Distributing the empowerment items to the beneficiaries at the palace of Amna Shelleng, the founder of Foundation, Alhaji Haruna Abdulmumini Dan Malikin Shelleng said the decision was borne out of his desire to encourage youth and women to become self-reliant and contribute their quota to the development of the area.
While appreciating the people of the area for their support and understanding, Dan Maliki Shelleng promised to continue to reach out more people in the area.
He called on the beneficiaries to utilize the items judiciously to uplift their status economically.
In his remark, Amna Shelleng, Alhaji Abdullahi Isa Dasong commended Dan Maliki Shelleng, Alhaji Haruna Abdulmumini for the assistance and urged other well-meaning indigenes of the area to emulate him.

Amna Shelleng, who was represented by the District Head of Garin Shelleng, Alhaji Abdulrahman Isa called on youths in the area to be productive.
He said the security challenges bedeviling the country was as a result of poverty and stressed the need for youths to acquire skills of their choice.
In address, the Chairman of Shelleng local government council, Alhaji Abdullahi Danjuma Kedi represented by Alhaji Yusuf Ahmad commended Dan Maliki Foundation for its concern on the development of youth.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Aishatu and Isa Umar thanked Dan Maliki foundation for the gesture, promising that they will use the items for the purpose intended.
Items distributed include thirty sewing Machines, forty grinding machines, seventy generators and one hundred and fifty sprayers.
