The President of American University of Nigeria, AUN Yola, Mrs Margee Ensingn has called on parents and guardians to redouble their effort in providing sound knowledge to their children from basic level.

She made the call during the graduation ceremony of Ahmadu Ribadu College as well as commissioning of new block of classroom, laboratories and launching of the school magazine.

Mrs Esingn who is guest speaker at event said Nigeria is among the countries that have out of school children, hence the need for collective efforts by stakeholders to support education from grassroots.

While congratulating the graduating students, she charged them to be good ambassadors of the college.

In his remark, the representative of the founder of the college, Alhaji Nazif Isa Ahmed said the school graduated over forty-eight students.

He commended the management and staff of the college for their contributions and urged them to maintain the spirit.

Speaking, Lamido Adamawa Doctor Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha represented by Ma’aji Adamawa Alhaji Abubakar Rufai saluted Ahmadu Ribadu College for proving sound knowledge and pledged his support at all times.

Earlier in his address the principal junior section of the school Mrs Flora Victor expressed appreciation to the parents and guardians for their support and urged them to do more.

In a remark, Head Boy of the class of twenty-twenty one Mohammed Aliyu Belel appreciated the management of the school for giving them sound knowledge and promised to be good ambassadors of the institution.

Highlights of the event was commissioning of classroom and laboratory block, launching of Magazine of the college and presentation of prizes and awards to deserving students.
