The former Deputy Governor Sa’d MC Tahir has called on People of Adamawa to adhere strictly Covid-nineteen protocols.

He made the appealed at the closing ceremony of three Days capacity building workshop organized by First Aid Group of Fityanul Islam Adamawa held at Fityanul Islam Secretariat Sunday.

Represented by Alhaji Umar Bello Galadima, the Former Deputy Governor said observing the protocol the disease will be minimized in the society.

He saluted Fityanul Islam First Aid Group for working tirelessly to ensure peace and unity in the society.

The Royal Father at the event, Lamido Adamawa Alhaji Doctor Aliyu Mustapha represented by Kaura Adamawa Alhaji Mustapha Barkindo commended Fityanul Islam for assisting the people and urged them to maintain the tempo.

Lamido Adamawa said the doors of the emirate council are open to assist the group.

On his part the chairman Yola south local government council Alhaji Salihu Malkohi appealed to the group to sensitize people on peace and unity.

In his remark, the Director General of the group Alhaji Salihu Sulaiman represented by his deputy lauded the efforts of the group in Adamawa and urged them to continued to pursuit knowledge both Islamic and Western education to enable them serve people better.

He appealed to government at all levels to assist the group.

Also the state chairman of Fityanul Islam Adamawa Shaikh Abubakar Sirimbai said the newly promoted officers were selected best on merit and urged them to be a role model for others to emulate.

Speaking, Modibbo Nana Yola said the first aid group was formed since the reign of Umar Bin Alkhattab and urged youths to avoid depending on government and engage in skills that will make them to be self reliance.

During the event, awards were presented to some personalities who contributed significantly to the development of the group.
