connected Development organizes townhall meeting for members of school monitoring team in Yola

A non governmental organization Connected Development in collaboration with malala fund has organized  community town hall meeting with members of  school monitoring teams, SMT and community leaders in yola south and fufore local government.

In a remark the  state lead of the organization maimuna Muhammad  salisu said the aim of the meeting is to discuss with the school monitoring teams  and community leaders on the implementation of  follow the money project and how best to improve of girl child education in their areas.

She also said the meeting is also a follow up to asses how they utilize the knowledge impacted them as well as identity their achievements and their problems.

Salihu  commended the school monitoring teams of the two local government for their commitment  so far and  hoped that they will maintain the tempo,even after the project.

Some member of the school monitoring team SMT in Yola south local government  during the meeting complain of lack of water supply and security in some school.

In fufore the school monitoring team lamented over lack of unity among the SMT members, water supply and toilet in  schools, and  called on  parents to stop withdrawing their daughters in school for marriage.
