Aspirant for Position of National President National Association of Women Journalists Calls on Nawojians to desist from rumor Mongering

An aspirant for position of National president National Association of Women Journalists NAWOJ, Hajiya Aisha Ibrahim has called on Nawojians to desist from rumour mongering and campaign of calumny against some members of the association.
Hajiya Aisha Ibrahim made the call Thursday while addressing state Nawojians at the NUJ press center against the backdrop of the national delegate election of the Association which will take place in Minna Niger state next month.
She said she is in Adamawa state to solicit support of memebers.
Hajiya Aisha Ibrahim explained that as members of a great association they should refrain from any act that will cause disunity but work towards success of the association.
The president aspirant commended Adamawa nawojians for the warm reception accorded her and her campaign team and not to disappoint them if given the mandate to serve
Hajiya Aisha said she will apply her experience and change the negative narrative on female journalists by restoring dignity in the association.
In his remark the state chairman of the Nigeria union of journalists, Comrade Donald Dedan charged aspirants of various positions in the association to carry out their campaign with maturity and work towards progress of the association.
Also speaking the Adamawa state coordinator of Nawoj ,Hajiya Zainab Abubakar said Nawoj Members in Adamawa are United and wished Hajiya Aisha Ibrahim success in her political ambition.
In his vote of thanks the Director general Aisha Ibrahim, campaign organisation Comrade Mohammed Sa’idu said Hajiya Aisha intend to give voice to the voicesles if given the mandate.
Comrade Mohammed Sa’idu urged Adamawa nawojians to rally round her for a vote and Aisha Ibrahim for progress of the association.
