The Member representing Lamurde constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Mr. Myandassa Bauna, says he will accord priority to water supply and electrification as his Constituency projects.

The Lawmaker who announced this during a town hall meeting he organized and held at the headquarters of Lamurde Local Government, said that he will use the opportunity in improving the living standards of the electorate.

He stated that he had promised during his electioneering campaign to present to the electorate the issue of constituency projects whenever funds are released for that purpose which necessitated the town hall meeting.

Mr Baura explained that constituency projects funds are not released to legislators but they are to determine the projects to be executed for the relevant ministry to award the contract.

He thanked Governor Umaru Fintiri, for considering the constituency allowances of the state legislators for implementation and promised not to relent in providing quality representation to the people.

In his remark at the event, a former Member of the state Assembly, Mr. Mike Zidon, commended the lawmaker, for briefing his constituents on the Constituency allowance granted by Governor Umaru Fintiri for execution across the state.

Mr. Zidon said the gesture was a reflection of transparency, accountability and what is generally expected of good leaders and called on the electorate in the area to support the present administration in the state in providing dividends of democracy.

In their separate remarks the Zonal Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Mr. Milson Jemuel and the party chairman of Lamurde Local Government, Mr Dimas Bello, described Mr Bauna as selfless, detribalized and a committed representative.

According to them, what the Member has done was a clear demonstration that he has Lamurde stakeholders, PDP elders, other party faithfuls and the entire electorate at heart.
