Governor Fintiri commissions electrification project in Yola South LGA

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on Wednesday has commissioned an electrification project in Baburawa of Wuro Jabbe Yola South local government area.
Speaking during the commissioning ceremony which held at Wuro Jabbe, governor Fintiri explained that the electricity project was awarded in two thousand and eight but was abandoned.
Governor Fintiri who was represented at the ceremony by the Commissioner of the Ministry for Rural Infrastructure and Community Development, Alhaji Abdullahi Prambe, the governor noted that the electricity project in Wuro Jabbe was categorized into three phases and government is doing everything to ensure the projects is executed.
Governor Fintiri added that the present administration has constructed seven Cottage Hospitals with the aim to improve the health sector in the state, and called on people of the community to rally round the present administration to enable them repe more dividends of democracy.
Governor Ahmdu Fintiri advised residents of Baburawa to ensure proper maintenance of the transformer for the benefit of all.
In his remark, the Commissioner of Transportation, Alhaji Mustapha Musa Jika saluted the governor for commissioning the project.
Alhaji Musa Jika noted that since governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri assumed duty Yola South local government is among the local governments that benefitted with developmental projects and urged the governor to maintain the tempo.
In their goodwill messages, the Councilor representing Namtari Ward in Yola South local government area, Mr Elisha Bitrus and Village Head of Wuro Jabbe, Alhaji Bashiru Abba expressed appreciation to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for providing the electricity project in the area and pledged their support.
They called on the governor to construct Samunaka Road and also provide potable drinking water to people of the area.
