Earlier in his remark, the National President of EYN, Reverend Doctor Joel Billi called on Governor Umaru Fintiri to intervene in the lingering security threats bedevilling some areas in the northern part of Adamawa where farmers were prevented from going to their farms, which is a threat to food insecurity.

Reverend Billi told the Governor that since the establishment of the North East Development Commission, northern part of the state has not gotten any impact from the commission and urged for the Governor’s intervention for the development of the zone ravaged by insurgency.
