Farmers in Adamawa state have been called upon to key into the laudable initiative provided by the North East commodity Association NECAS in boosting food production.

The state Mechanization manager of NECAS Mallam Abdulkadir Gaya stated this during the mechanization unit Demonstration day held at Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority Headquarters Yola.

Mallam Abdulkadir Gaya explained that the essence of the day is to demonstrate to Farmers the services NECAS mechanization is providing in the state.

He said have been rendering services to Farmers for wet seasons twenty-twenty deep it necessary to extent it practically adding that the notice that most of the Farmers are good in the peasants way of farming rather than the easiest modern way which is use of tractors.

The manager further said NECAS has officer’s national, state and local Government areas rendering services to Farmers at cheaper rates calling on framers to patronize the services which are cheaper to boost food production.

Some of the Farmers interviewed by ABC Yola reporter, Alexander Amos, Aitiya David and Abubakar Sadiq appreciated NECAS for demonstrating to them modern methods of farming.
