MAULUD: Jada based Islamic Cleric admonishes Muslims to preach peace

Muslims across the world have commenced celebrating the birth day of holy prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.

Every month of Rabiul Auwal an Islamic month calendar, Muslims organised and gather to commemorate the birthday of the prophet by preaching his life style, childhood and prophet hood for people to learn from his exemplary life.

ABC Yola reporter observed that already maulud celebrations commenced in towns and villages across Adamawa before the mega event on twelfth of the Month Rabiul Awwal.

Speaking on the significant of the month of Rabiul Auwal, An Islamic Scholar in Jada local government area Modibbo Sharifuddin Adamu Komsiri said it is the month in which the holy prophet Muhammad peace be upon was born and whosever rejoices with his birth will receive bountiful blessings from Allah.

He described Prophet Muhammad as trustworthy, honest, pious, simple and patience, urging Muslims to inculcate his love on to their wards for them to grow up responsible Muslims.

Modibbo Adamu Komsiri said the current insecurity the country is facing require reflection on the life of prophet Muhammad who leave peacefully with non-Muslims and demonstrated love to them.

The Islamic Scholar admonished Muslims to use the period to peach peace, love and tolerance as well as highlight good virtues of prophet Muhammad peace be upon him to even non-Muslims.
