Radio Listeners Club urges Government to revive ABC Yola

The Adamawa State Chairman of Radio Writers and Listeners Club, Manu Adamu Poster has called on Adamawa state government to revive the state-owned Media organization ABC Yola towards coverage of all local government areas in the state.
He made the call Monday during a courtesy visit to the Acting General Manager of ABC Yola, Alhaji Abdul-Nasir Ali at the Broadcasting House.
Malam Adamu poster explained that if government revive the A M channel of the station, it will go along way in enlightening members of the public on policies and programs of the present administration.
The chairman noted that the association represent all radio listeners across the state and called on management of ABC to give them maximum support.
Malam Manu Poster said the essence of the visit is to strengthen relationship between the association and ABC Yola which have been in existence for long.
The chairman while congratulating the Acting General of ABC, Alhaji Abdul-Nasir Ali over his appointment charged him to redouble his efforts towards upgrading the station.
Responding, the Acting General Manager Yola, Alhaji Abdul-Nasir Ali expressed delight over the visit said it will go a long way to strengthen the relationship between ABC Yola and the association.
Alhaji Abdul-Nasir explained that the present administration is working tirelessly towards reviving the station.
The Acting General Manager expressed its readiness to work with the association in promoting peace and unity among radio listeners across the state.
