Good Virtues Are Essential To Spiritual Growth- Pastor Kumuyi

The General Overseer of Deeper Life Bible Church Pastor William Kumuyi has observed that passion for the word of God and inculcating of good virtues are essential in the spiritual growth of youth.

Pastor Kumuyi, made the observation while delivering a lecture aimed at empowering young persons on Saturday as part of activities for the six day Global Crusade at Deeper Life Bible School, Kwanan Waya along Numan road.

He noted that the growth of youths is essential in every society adding that the crusade is an opportunity to empower them for new beginning.

Pastor Kumuyi, while citing Biblical verses to back his assertion, said passion, courage, determination and perseverance are basic virtues needed to forge ahead positively towards excellence.

He explained that there is need for these virtues to be cultivated through practice and good company among others for positive impact.

The convener emphasized that Teenagers, and young adults are stages of development in youths and pointing out that they need not to compromise as associating with those of bad attitude could influence them negatively.

In her remark, Esther, wife of Pastor Kumuyi explained that the program, which target youths, is one of the best and stressing that they have the opportunity to benefit to improve their spiritual wellbeing.

The event also featured collaboration among critical stakeholders including the media for the propagation of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
