Islamic Scholars decries low level of assisting Needy

Wealthy and spirited individuals in the society have been reminded of the need to extend the hands of fellowship to orphans to enable them feel a sense of belonging.

The Proprietor and Chief Executive Officer of Arra’ayah Orphanage Foundation Jimeta, Hajiya Aisha Muhammad Khamis gave the reminder during the graduation ceremony of thirty eight students and pupils of the foundation.

She maintained that such benevolent attracts a lot of rewards from Allah.

The gradaunds comprise those that memorize whole verses of the Holy Quranic, Primary and Junior secondary schools children.

According to Hajiya Aisha, the foundation was established in twenty-ten with the aim to support child education, health care, and charity to disabled children, orphans and the less privileged.

In his presentation, the guest speaker Mallam Abdulrahman Umar Muhammad charged Muslims to learn the meanings of the verses of the Holy Qur’an and conduct their daily affairs in line with its teachings.

The Islamic scholar advised children to always respect their parents.

Mallam Muhammad also reminded parents on their responsibility of ensuring that children are rightly guided by given proper upbringing so that they can be useful to the society.

In a remark, one of the guest Mallam Bobboi Doma charged children to seek both Islamic and western education for their benefit both in this world and in the hereafter..

Highpoints of the event was recitation of some verses of the Holy Qur’an by the students and presentation of certificates to the graduands.
