Political Pressure Group Endorses Gov Fintiri For Second Term

A Political Pressure group, Fintiri Network for Good Governance has formally endorsed Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for a second term.

At the event, held at the conference Hall Women Development Center Yola, Adamawa state Commissioner of Youth and Sports Development Mr. Aloysius Babadoke said the endorsement would not be unconnected with achievements recorded in the areas of infrastructure, Education, Health, and Empowerment by Governor Fintiri.

Mr. Babadoake who described youths and women as pillars in nation-building acknowledged their contribution to the success story of the Fintiri-led administration and urged them to maintain the tempo.

He appealed to the people of Adamawa to reciprocate Fintiri’s gesture by voting for him and other PDP candidates in the forthcoming general elections.

Guest speaker at the event and Dean School of Languages Federal College of Education Yola, Doctor Adamu Babikkoi who spoke on good Governance noted with satisfaction achievements recorded by Governor Fintiri.

Earlier, the State Coordinator of the Fintiri Network for Good Governance Comrade Garba Hassan said the endorsement of Governor Fintiri by the Association was based on feats recorded by the Governor in infrastructure, education, security, and health among others.

Comrade Garba said membership of the association cut across the twenty-one local government areas and called on Adamawa People to re-elect Governor Fintiri for continuity.

In her goodwill message, the Head of Poverty Alleviation and Wealth Creation Agency PAWECA, Hajiya Aishatu Bawa Bello saluted Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for transforming Adamawa and called on people to support him.

In her vote of thanks, State Commissioner of Education Mrs. Wilbina Jackson appreciated the pressure group for endorsing Governor Fintiri and urged them to work hard by ensuring PDP candidates emerge victorious in the forthcoming general elections.
