Communities of Yebbi and Mbulo commend Gov. Fintiri for Reconstruction of Collapse Bridge

Communities of Yebbi and Mbulo in Jada and Ganye local government areas have commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for the prompt response by embarking on reconstruction of the collapsed bridge that connect the two local governments.

The communities in separate interview with ABC Yola reporter, rated Fintiri administration high in the areas of Infrastructural development and provision of other basic amenities.

According to a community leader in the area, Mallam Hamidu Dahiru Danaba, since the collapse of the bridge transportation between the communities in the two local governments was paralyzed until the intervention of Governor Fintiri.

He lauded the governor for embarking on the project and urged relevant government officials to closely monitor and supervise the execution of work.

Similarly, a Youth Leader in the area, Sa’adu Yebbi appreciated Government for undertaking the project, saying reconstructing the bridge will go a long way in boosting both commercial and farming activities in the areas by easing movement of goods and people.

He appealed to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to reconstruct the Jada-Mbulo road which was constructed in the nineteen eighties.

The youth leader also appealed to Government to empower youths in the area to enable them to be self reliant.

Commenting, an Engineer with ATB Barrak services, the constructing firm handling the project Mr Henshaw Samuel assured Quality work and timely completion of the project.

ABC Yola reporter who was in the area reports that work on the bridge is progressing.

In his comments, a representative of Ministry of Works and Energy Development, Engineer Muhammad Rabiu Inuwa expressed satisfaction with the quality of work and urged the contractor handling the project to double his effort.
