CHAN Commends ABC Yola For Enlightening The Public On healthcare Services

The Zonal coordinator of Christian Health Association of Nigeria, CHAN, Mr Franklin Fabulous Felixson has commended Management and staff of Adamawa Broadcasting Corporation, ABC Yola for their effort at enlightening members of public on the healthcare services and related activities in the state.

He made the commendation Wednesday when he paid a courtesy visit to the General Manager, ABC Yola at the Broadcasting house in Yola.

Mr Fabulous Felixson said they were in ABC Yola to seek collaboration with the corporation to sensitize members of the public on activities of Christian Health Association of Nigeria in the state.

The coordinator explained that the Christian Health Association of Nigeria is a Faith Based Organization that has responsibility of overseeing services of Missionary owned Health Institutions in the country.

He stated that the association was formed with a view to promoting effective health services to rural communities at affordable rates.

Mr Felixson revealed that the Association has partnership with the Ministry of Health to complement government effort considering the numerous challenges in the sector.

The coordinator added that association is rendering services in Jimeta and Demsa local governments in the state.

Mr Fabulous Felixson solicited support of ABC Yola to enable the association to deliver its mandate.

Responding, the General Manager of Adamawa Broadcasting Corporation, ABC Yola, Chief Alleni Ethan Dah who expressed delight over the visit, explained that the religious body has a vital role to play in assisting people with health challenges at the grassroots.

He acknowledged that the association was providing quality health services at affordable rates in parts of the state and urged the health centres to maintain posture.

Chief Ethan Dah advised members the association not to be discouraged by challenges in the health sector.

The General Manager assured them of the readiness of ABC Yola to support the Christian Health Association of Nigeria throughout various programmes.
