People Living With Disability Encourages To Engage In Productive Ventures

People living with disability have been encouraged to engage themselves in productive ventures for them to be responsible members of society.

The Secretary of, the Adamawa State branch of the Nigerian Red Cross Society Alhaji Shaibu Dauda advised the commemoration of World Red Cross Day in Yola, noted that people living with disability have excelled in their endeavors, and noted that there is ability in every disability.

The twenty twenty-three World Cross Day with the theme ”From the Heart is to commemorate the birthday of the founder of the society Sir Henry Dunant was held at the blind workshop Yola with the physically challenged persons.

In his remarks, the chairman of the blind workshop Mr Ibrahim Wavah expressed satisfaction with the inclusiveness in this year’s celebration.

Mr. Pwanogoshi Medical gave a brief history of the Red Cross.

The highlight of the programme includes a Health talk on personal Hygiene by the health coordinator, Malam Hussaini.
