APHCDA lauds NGOs working towards eradication of Malaria
Adamawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency has lauded the efforts on Non-Governmental organizations working towards eradication of malaria in the State.
Director Admin and Human resources of the agency Yakubu Alhassan who made the commendation while recieving a team from ACOMIN said the agency will continue support such NGOs to enable the society rid out the menace.
According to him role of NGOs in enhancing activities of the agency cannot be quantified adding the initiative of the ACOMIN in creating awareness on Malaria prevention and Commodities is a step in right direction.
He pledged to extend the message of the ACOMIN to the management of the agency for more support to enable them carry out their activities effectively.
Earlier, A focal Person of the ACOMIN, Mrs Rhoda Hassan Chiwar said that they were at the agency to seek for collaboration in creating awareness on Malaria prevention and Commodities in the state.
She said the organization has been sensitizing Community on the need to protect themselves from malaria as well as use of malaria Commodities.
Ms Chiwar said Government alone cannot do it hence the need for Communities to also contribute in the fight against the disease.
