New King of Bachama Kingdom receives rousing welcome in Numan

The New King of Bachama Kingdom, Homun Daniel Shagah Ismaila has received a rousing welcome from people in various communities who turned out to receive him on his way to Numan after completing traditional rites in Lamurde.
Thousands of Bwatiye and other residents, men and women, the young and elderly took to major streets of Numan as well as Narious villages to receive the Kings chanting songs of solidarity, support and loyalty to the paramount ruler.
ABC Yola reporter who was in Lamurde up to Numan said the King enroute to Numan walked through Hadiyo, Mbemun, Ndubange and Gyawana Communities and rounded off traditional rites of Imburu before proceeding to the palace in Numan.
The reporter observed that prominent sons and daughters of Bachama Kingdom including politicians and traditional title holders we’re among people that escorted the King to the Palace in Numan.
Deputy speaker, Adamawa State House of Assembly Mr. Pwamakaino Macwando and Member, House of Representatives for Lamurde, Numan and Demsa, Mr Kwamoti Laori were among the critical stakeholders that accompanied the Hama Bachama to all the way to Numan.
The king was generally received by large and jubilating crowds while the various traditional rites in the strategic communities were conducted peacefully.
The new Hama Bachama, Homun Daniel Shagah Ismaila from Nokodomun clan succeeds Late Homun Honest Irmiya Stephen who died on June twenty eight, twenty-twenty after a brief illness.
Homun Shaga is a former Director, Finance and Administration of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency and at various time headed the agency in acting capacity before his torment and subsequent appointment as Homun Bachama as approved by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
