Adamawa state muslims welfare commissions organises train the trainers sensitization workshop on Hajj

Adamawa state Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Commission Yola has organized train the trainers sensitization on Hajj and Umrah activities for the twenty-twenty three exercise.

Participants at the workshop were preachers who sensitize intending Pilgrims on Hajj from twenty one local government areas of the state.

Speaking during the opening ceremony held at the commission in Yola, Executive Secretary Adamawa state Pilgrims Welfare Commission, Mallam Salihu Abubakar said the aim of the workshop is to train Preachers with the new sensitization module initiated by the commission to guide them on sensitization and enlightening of intending Pilgrims on Hajj and Umrah activities.

While acknowledging the support and cooperation the commission is receiving from Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the Executive Secretary appealed to participants to be attentive and extend same to intending Pilgrims.

Also speaking, the Chairman of Adamawa state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission Yola, Imam Bappari Umar Kem emphasized that the new module developed by the commission is to enable sensitization sessions uniformly presented to intending Pilgrims.

According to him, the module contain Hajj and Umrah exercise from the beginning up to the end to guide intending Pilgrims on Hajj which is one of the five pillars of Islam.

While appealing to participants to be guided by the new module, Imam Kem reiterated commitment of the commission towards ensuring intending Pilgrims know how the Hajj is been observed while in the holy Land of Mecca.

The chairman hoped that the new module will soon be converted to book which will serve as guide to intending Pilgrims not only Adamawa but the country at large.

On her part the Director public communication and Pilgrims enlightenment, Hajiya Maryam Abubakar Boda called on intending Pilgrims to offend weekly, sensitization to enable them understand the rudiments of Hajj exercise.
