Lawmaker presents seven cars to Constituents

The member representing Michika in the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Mr. Joseph Ayuba Kwada, has presented seven cars worth over ten million naira to a cross section of beneficiaries in the constituency.

Speaking at the event in Michika, the legislator said that the gesture was in fulfillment of his electioneering campaign promises and to appreciate his Constituents for their support.

Mr. Kwada, stated that he had promised during campaign that if voted into office, he will support the executive arm in addressing insecurity in the area and he therefore provided the cars as logistics support to security agents so as to enable them protect lives and properties of the people.

He pledged to provide patrol vehicles to Vigilante groups to support them in the maintenance of peace and security in and around Michika.

The lawmaker declared that soon, construction companies will start sinking solar powered and hand pump boreholes in some selected communities adding that the contractors will liaise with stakeholders of the benefiting communities before commencement of work.

On the education sector, the legislator pledged to complement the efforts of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, by completing the construction of a Science Laboratory at Futu Government Day Secondary as earlier initiated, as well as complete renovation of some structures of Government Day Secondary Tilli.

Mr. Kwada, urged people in the constituency to support the government to enable it deliver on campaign promises, and assured them of his readiness to continue to deliver to them the needed representation.

In his remark, the Executive Chairman, Michika Local Government Council, Mr. Michael Shehu, described the legislator as a man of his words, saying he supported Mr. Kwada right from the time of electioneering campaign, because he has certain qualities that set him aside as a politician.

Also speaking, the Leader, Michika Legislative Council who was represented by his Deputy, commended the Legislator for delivering on his campaign promises, and pledged to continue to support him.

The Chairman People Democratic Party PDP, Michika Local Government Area, Mr. Ezekiel Kwaji, said Mr. Kwada has done Michika constituency and the people proud, insisting that the member deserved commendation.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, a former Member of the House of Assembly, Mr. Tari Kwada, and Chief Imam of Michika Central Mosque, Ahmed Ibrahim, applauded the legislator, and prayed to God to protect, give him more wisdom and reward him abundantly.
