The member representing Yola South Constituency at the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Alhaji Kabiru Mijinyawa, has presented tricycles, motorcycles, refrigerators and cash to seven hundred and seventy five people of his constituency.

Speaking during the programme at Wetland Parks and Garden Yola, he said his empowerment programme, which gulped millions of naira, has cut across the eleven electoral wards of Yola South.

The lawmaker said the empowerment programme is part of his contribution to the development of his constituency in other to alleviate the suffering of his people and to complement efforts of the present administration in meeting the yearnings of the electorate.

The former Speaker said he has sponsored hundreds of People on various skills acquisition programmes that would help them to be self reliant.

He commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for granting the approval of Constituency projects to the members of the seventh Assembly, adding that he will continue to lobby for more development Programmes from the government to the people of his Constituency.

Earlier in his address the All Progressives Congress APC Chairman Yola South Local Government Alhaji Suleiman Adamu, said  Kabiru Mijinyawa has justified the confidence reposed in him during his re-election by providing his people with basic amenities.

APC stakeholder in Yola south local government Alhaji Idris Baba Attah described the lawmaker as a man of his words and urged him to maintain the tempo.

On his part the Senior Legislative aid on Media and Public Affairs to former Governor, Alhaji Hussaini Ahmadu Har charged the beneficiaries to use what they have received in boosting their businesses.

Speaking separately, representives of the beneficiaries from various groups appreciated Kabiru Mijinyawa for his kind gesture, promising that they will utilize it judiciously.
