Governor Fintiri condoles family of late Baba Panti Filibus

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri alongside top government functionaries Friday paid a condolence visit on the family of late Baba Panti Filibus in Mayobelwa local government area.

Baba Filibus who died on Saturday June, twelveth after an illness, was a father to the Archbishop of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria, Most Reverend Doctor Musa Panti Filibus.

Governor Fintiri at a family compound of Most Reverend Musa Panti Filibus in Mayobelwa town described the death of Baba as a great loss not only to his family, Mayobelwa and Adamawa but Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

The Governor on behalf of his family, the People and Government of Adamawa state expressed solidarity with Most Reverend Musa Panti Filibus and the family in mourning the departed Baba Panti Filibus.

He said late Baba Fanti was a kind and affectionate father, a true Patriarch who dedicated his lifetime towards entrenching peace and tranquillity as well as service to humanity.

Governor Umaru Fintiri urged Most Reverend Musa Panti Filibus and the entire bereaved family to have solace in God and bear the irreparable loss of Baba as death awaits every mortal.

While advising the grief family to emulate the good legacies of late Baba Filibus towards entrenching peaceful coexistence, the Governor prayed to God to grant him eternal rest.

Governor Umaru Fintiri was received during the condolence visit by Senator Binos Dauda Yaro and Most Reverend Musa Panti Filibus among other family members of the deceased.

Responding, Most Reverend Musa Panti Filibus thanked Governor Umaru Fintiri alongside his entourage for identifying with the family at the sad moment and prayed to God to reward him abundantly.

Contributing, one of the elders of the family, Professor Istifanus Zabadi noted appreciation the visit by Governor Umaru Fintiri to commiserate with the family and the people over the demise of Baba Filibus.

The Governor who was received during the visit by Senator Binos Dauda Yaro was accompanied to Mayobelwa by some members of the state Assembly, Secretary to the State Government SSG, Malam Bashir Ahmad and some commissioners.
