CASIFY Renew Commitment To Promote Health Awareness

The Community and Social Initiative Foundation CASIFY, Yola has reiterated its determination to promote health in a community and create awareness of social issues.
The Executive Director of the organization, Mallam Adamu Bakari Wuro-Chekke stated this while inaugurating board members of the organization at its office in Wuro-Chekke, Yola South local government area.
He said the organization was initially established as a community-based organization at the instance of the Society for Family Health, thirteen years ago before it has metamorphosis into a Non-governmental organization upon registration Corporate Affairs Commission.
In their separate speeches, some of the board members charged the staff of the organization to be committed, honest, and loyal to the organization for them to succeed.
They advised them to always consider the NGO work as humanitarian services that require self-sacrifice and not an avenue for enrichment.
The Board members, while assuring them of their support, charged them to diversify their means of generating income for the sustenance of the organization.
Also in their separate remarks, representatives of the Village Head of Wuro-Chekke, Alhaji Muhammadu Jungudo and Alhaji Abubakar Ubandoma of Community Reach Initiative, CRI explained that NGO work is to breach the existing gap in hard-to-reach communities by the government, and tasked staff and volunteers of the organization to be obedient to their leaders
Those inaugurated are Adamu Bakari-Chairman, Sa’ad Muahhamad Wuro-Chekke, Professor Abdullahi Usman Wuro-Chekke, Habsatu Dahiru, and Martins Banga Madanga.
