Faith Organization trains over 100 people on vocational skill

A Faith Based Organizations, Cafrilasia Renaissance Foundation and Kurna Aid Foundation have jointly trained one hundred and twelve people on Various vocational skills.

        A day Seminar was held Wednesday at Jolly Nyame Hall, Lutheran Junior Seminary, Mbamba Yola with the theme “Making Kingdom Impact in Trouble Times.

        In his welcome address the Provost, Bronnum Lutheran Seminary, Yola Reverend Doctor Moses Briska Sekenwa urged the participants to utilize the opportunity for them to become self-reliant.

        Reverend Sekenwa noted that idleness have impacted on negatively the society, hence the effort  of the two organizations to organize the programme.

        In his presentation, one of the resource persons, Processor Daniel Gungula of Modibbo Adama Teaching Hospital Yola charged the participants to develop a mind of entrepreneurial skills and avoid depending on others for livelihood.

        He explained that lack of people engaging themself in a meaningful ventures subjects an individual to Idleness and penury.

He therefore challenged the participants to develop the habit of creating jobs rather than waiting from othe.

On his part, the state coordinator, Cafrilasia Renaissance Foundation, Mr. Oscar Orkaaga spoke entensively on principles of economic strength and financial freedom.

        Mr Orkaaga identified important principles in self independence to include Financial Intelligence and Mindset Development.

        Others are Creativity, Determination and Healthy Relationship which the latter produce Integrity, People Management Skill and Giving.

        He who underscored the significance of communication skill in building a healthy relationship with others, and tasked the participant to be visionary and optimistic and in  vocational skill pursuit.

        The state coordinator urged them to be passionate and energetic while making decision in the face of daunting challenges.

        In her remark the Board Member, Kurna Aid Foundation, Mrs. Solomi Benson appreciated the resource persons and encouraged participants to use the knowledge and skill acquired for the benefit of and the society.

The participants were  trained on pomade making, dettol and pesticide.
