Islamic Scholars In Yola Have Charges Muslims To Imbibe The Virtues Patience And Forgiveness

As Muslims all over the World Celebrate Birthday of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, Islamic Scholars in Yola have charged Muslims to imbibe the virtues patience and forgiveness for peace and tranquility in the society.

The clerics in a separate interview with ABC Yola reporter said the simplicity, perseverance and honesty of Prophet Muhammad earn him love and respect to both Muslims and non-Muslims.

A Yola based Islamic Scholar; Mallam Musa Salihu Kaduna said certainly there are best conducts to copy from the life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad by Muslims.

He narrated that in his lifetime Prophet Muhammad was known for his trustworthiness, tolerance and honesty and stressed the need for Muslims to emulate the virtues for a better society.

Mallam Salihu said prophet Muhammad has lived peacefully with non- Muslims and treated all with justice and fairness.

According to the cleric Maulud is being celebrated annually to encourage Muslims to live in line.

On his Modibbo Abubakar Sirimbai Zailani Yola called on Muslims to teach their children and wards love of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him to enable them grows up as responsible citizens.

Since the beginning of Rabiul Awal an Islamic month calendar Muslims have been organizing Maulud in towns and villages to show their love to Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.

Holy Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him was born in Makka in the year five hundred seventy one A.D.

His father`s name is Abdullahi and his mother`s name is Aminatu.

As in the tradition of the Arabs, the Holy Prophet grew-up under the care of a woman called Halima.

As a young child the holy Prophet was nicknamed Al-Amin because of his trustworthiness.

The Holy Prophet married Khadija, a widow and wealthy business-woman at the age of twenty five while she was forty.

When he was forty, Muhammad become a Prophet and started preaching in Makka.

Because of persecution, he migrated to Madina.

He died in Madina at the age of sixty three.

Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him was the last and seal of the Prophets.
